Review-
Tahkhana is a 1986 horror movie produced & directed by the Ramsay Brothers. Tahkhana is an average film, which could have been better. Ramsays have tried to repeat the Purana Mandir success but fell short. But Tahkhana managed to do some business for them. Ramsays have signed almost the same actors and technicians from Purana Mandir. Music and Background score is done by Ajit Singh. Ajit Singh who did an impressive job in Purana Mandir has failed to deliver here.

Review-
In the opening scene of Tahkhana, we are shown a Haveli, same old Haveli which Ramsays have used in Darwaza, Dak bangla and Dahshat and many other films. An old man is about to die and he gives all his property and treasure only to his elder son Raghubhir Singh, because his younger son Durjan Singh practises black magic and is associated with anti-social elements.
But the treasure is hidden in a Tahkhana, and the map to the treasure is in the lockets of two sisters who were separated at childhood. And anyone who attempts to take the treasure will be killed by a monster lurking in the Tahkhana. Monster/Shaitaan which was resurrected by Durjan.
Ramsays could have made the shaitaan more scary, but it looks like a confused idiot wandering not knowing what to do. It looks funny at times.
Aarti gupta looks cute and hot. Hemant and Puneet show their bulging muscles everytime they are on screen. Puneet gets the same role as of in Purana Mandir to play, and gets the same character name; Anand.
The climax is different in this movie with no om or trishuls to kill the monster or even the holy fire in which the monster gets fried every time. Here the monster is killed by rocky pillars.
This a good movie, and for especially those who love Bollywood monster movies.
