Robot 2 Takes a Huge Opening at BORobot 2.0 Box Office Collection | Day 1 & 2 Full Report
2.0 finally got released on 29th November 2018 after getting postponed multiple times, mainly due to financial and CGI issues. Here is the detailed Box Office report of Robot 2.
Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 'Robot 2.0' took a humongous opening at the box office all over India. 2.0 collected around an estimated 20 crore Rupees (Hindi version) on its first day at the box office. The trade had expected the film to do very well at the box office on day one, as 2.0 was released in record number of screens all over India, and also because of the hype surrounding the movie as well. And the presence of both Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar has helped the film to do good business in both north and south box offices.
2.0 is big budgeted film with the reported production cost of close to 600 crore Rupees. The huge opening at the box office on day one, gives the film a much needed head start, as it has to recover huge costs of production & advertising. As the film releasing on Thursday, the 4-day opening weekend will also help 2.0 in recovering the cost. Robot 2.0 is expected to do good business at both single screen and multiplexes.
