Actor Vicky Kaushal in 'Uri''72 Virgins' Go Missing From URI The Surgical Strike Video on Youtube!
The trailer of the film, 'URI: The Surgical Strike', featured a dialogue about '72 virgins' which has been removed in a new version of the trailer, uploaded on YouTube. In the early version of the trailer, which was about 13 seconds lengthier than the present version, had the lead actor of the film (Vicky Kaushal) mouth the dialogue about '72 virgins', at the end of the trailer. Vicky Kaushal plays an Army officer in the film, who leads the "Surgical Strikes" against Pakistan.
Below is the '72 virgins' dialogue
"Apne bahattar hooron ko humara salaam bolna. Kehna daawat par intezaar kare, aaj bahot saare mehmaan bhejne waale hain!"
Translation -
"Say Hi to your 72 virgins from our side. Tell them to wait for the feast, we will be sending more guests!"
The reason for the removal of the above dialogue is still unknown. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala's 'RSVP Movies', and is directed by the debutant, Aditya Dhar.
'URI: The Surgical Strike' features Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam in the lead roles. The movie is scheduled to release on 11th January 2019.
In an interview to scroll.in, director Aditya Dhar said that all characters in the film are fictional.
