Gully Boy is back on track again at the box office with good collections Saturday, after seeing a moderate drop on its second day. The film collected around ~18.85 cr. on its third day at the box office. Saturday's collections are on par with Thursday's (Day 1) collection, and only slightly less. Gully Boy will further grow at the box office on Day 4 (Sunday), and Sunday's collection should be even better, taking the first weekend total to around 73-75 crores.
Gully Boy had released on Thursday (Feb 14), and had a four-day first weekend as a result. The drop on second day had several reasons, main reasons being, that the film had outperformed on the first day, because of Valentine's Day; and the tragic incident at Pulwama.
The film continues to trend well at the multiplexes in the metros and Tier 1 cities. The advance bookings for Sunday are better than Day 1, and Sunday's collection should comfortably breach the 22 cr. mark.
