Kesari took a drop in its box office collections on Day 2 (Friday), after a good first day start. The film collected around ~15.78 cr. on its second day at the box office. The drop from Day 1 to Day 2 is around ~15%. Kesari had collected around ~18.55 cr. on Day 1 (Thursday) at the box office. The drop on Day 2 is quite routine, as the film had released on Thursday (instead of regular Friday release) on the occasion of 'Holi', and Friday being a normal working day. The overall occupancy rates decreased significantly on Day 2, specially in the evening and the night shows, resulting in the lower second day box office figures.

Kesari continues to do well in Delhi NCR and Hyderabad, comparatively. The state of Punjab again put-up good numbers on Day 2, but the collections were flat. The film should again pick-up on Saturday (Day 3) and Sunday (Day 4) to post a good first weekend (4 days) total.
