Below Average Opening For Jabariya JodiJabariya Jodi Day 1 Box Office Collection
Jabariya Jodi had a below-average Day 1 at the box office as it collected a meagre ~2.75 crores. The trade was expecting at least around 3.5-4 crores mark, but the film has found itself well short of that range. 'Jabariya Jodi' was postponed multiple times, and the pre-release buzz & interest in the audience was very limited. This was evident in the advance booking numbers, as the first day advance ticket sales for the film was less than the recently released 'Judgementall Hai Kya'. Even the scale of release was slightly below 'Judgementall Hai Kya' as 'Jabariya Jodi' is released in around ~1600 screens, and 'Judgementall Hai Kya' was released in around ~1750 screens.
'Jabariya Jodi' is the solo major Bollywood release this week at the box office, but the film hasn't been able to take advantage of that. It looks unlikely that the film will show any remarkable growth in the weekend holidays, and has every chance of fizzling out in the weekdays. With two big releases scheduled for 15 August, Jabariya Jodi's fate at the box office is pretty much sealed.
