1Films.in Exclusive: 'Jabariya Jodi' Theater Count, Show Count & Advance Booking Details

The first day advance ticket booking for the comedy romance film, 'Jabariya Jodi', has been very mediocre. The advance booking has been very lackluster for the film so far, and neither the Metros nor the smaller cities and towns have shown any good response to the advance ticket sales. Mumbai has a below average booking of around ~6.8% seats booked from 504 shows. And, Delhi NCR has only ~9.8% seats booked from 524 shows. Even Pune and Bangalore have shown a cold response towards the advance booking. These advance booking figures are even below the recently released film 'Judgementall Hai Kya'. Even the number of screens and shows are less than 'Judgementall Hai Kya'. These poor advance booking numbers point towards a very ordinary first day box office collection for 'Jabariya Jodi'. And, if we go by the first day advance booking figures, 'Jabariya Jodi' is going to collect less than 'Judgementall Hai Kya' on its first day at the box office. 'Judgementall Hai Kya' had collected around ~4.25 crores on Day 1, and 'Jabariya Jodi' can collect around ~3.5 - 4 crores on its first day at the box office. It will be a good first day for the film if it can somehow cross the 4.5 cr. mark.

'Jabariya Jodi' is releasing after multiple changes to its release date. And, it is the solo major Bollywood film to release this Friday. It has the advantage of a Holiday on Monday due to Bakrid. But, for the film to take advantage of that Holiday, it has to generate a good positive word-of-mouth going into Saturday and Sunday; otherwise the collections are going to be pretty much flat in the Weekend Holidays. It is a desperate situation for the film, because just six after on 15 Aug, two big releases in form of 'Mission Mangal' and 'Batla House' will be hitting the screens. 'Jabariya Jodi' has to make the most at the box office during the 6-days period, otherwise it going to be a commercially unsuccessful film. The pre-release buzz and interest for 'Jabariya Jodi' appears to be very limited as evident by the advance booking figures. However, the audience word-of-mouth will come into play post-day1, and will have to wait and see how the film turns out and what kind of growth it can witness on Day 2.
