According to the 'BARC' TV viewership data, the top Kannada TV serial with the highest TRP between 21st to 27th September is 'Mangala Gowri Maduve' which is telecasted on the TV channel 'Colours Kannada'. 'Mangala Gowri Maduve' has gathered 66.55 lakh viewership impressions this week. The show 'Mangala Gowri Maduve' has completed 2125 episodes as of 08 October, and it originally started airing from March 12, 2012 and was originally named as 'Putta Gowri Maduve'. The TV serial was renamed as 'Mangala Gowri Maduve' in April this year, following changes to its lead cast. And, despite the name change and the changes in its lead cast, the serial has managed to hold a firm grip on its viewers, and is at the top of the TRP charts.
While the top serial in the TRP Ratings belongs to Colours Kannada, the next four serial come from Zee Kannada TV channel.
Ranked second in the TV serial TRP list, is the relatively new show 'Gattimela' on Zee Kannada which is only a few impressions (66K) behind 'Mangala Gowri Maduve'. Ranked 3rd, is Zee Kannada's dance reality show 'Dance Karnataka Dance: Family War 2'. And, ranked 4th and 5th are serials 'Paaru' and 'Yaare Nee Mohini' again from Zee Kannada.
