'Chhichhore', the box office super-hit comedy film, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, made its television debut on Sunday 24th November. The film was telecasted simultaneously on both Star Gold and Star Plus TV channels, which has been the norm lately for TV premieres of movies on the Star TV network's channels. 'Chhichhore' was given its first television broadcast in the 12 PM slot, which is mostly the case for most of the TV premieres of Bollywood movies. The film had collected over 140 crores at the Indian box office when it was released theatrically on 6 September 2019.
On its 'World TV Premiere', 'Chhichhore' received a good response from the TV audience, and its TRP ratings have actually beaten the TRPs some of the big-budget big-star movies. According to the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), 'Chhichhore' garnered around 60.39 lakh viewership impressions on its TV debut on Star Gold alone. The film has proved to be a HIT on television as well like it was at the box office.
