'Panga' released alongside another film named 'Street Dancer 3D'. 'Panga' was a comparatively small release at the box office this week. Even the holdover release 'Tanhaji', which is in its 3rd week, had more screens this Friday than 'Panga'. 'Street Dancer 3D' was the biggest Bollywood release of the week with screens close to 3700 including all versions.

Verdict - Flop.
Panga Box Office Notes
Opening Note - 'Panga' opened low, but it is in the expected range, and exactly as we predicted in our pre-release prediction article (Read it here). The film collected around 2 crores on its first day at the box office. The low opening was pretty much expected, as it is a small-budget niche film which lacks a big-star as its lead. But, the film needs to grow enormously in the next two days to give itself a chance. 'Panga' has opened to good reviews from the critics, and the early audience word-of-mouth also leans towards the positive side. So, it will be interesting to see how the film behaves at the box office in the coming days.
Day 2 (Saturday) Collection Update: 'Panga' witnessed a big growth on its second day at the box office. The film grew 2.125 times on Day 2, but because the Day 1 collections are low the growth on Day 2 appears big, also the positive word-of-mouth seems to have come into play. 'Panga' collected around 4.25 crores on Saturday, which takes its two days box office total to a decent 6.25 crores. Going by the current trending, the film should be able to see another good growth on Sunday.
Day 3 (Sunday) Collection Update: The film collected around 5.25 crores on Sunday, which takes the first weekend total to around 11.50 crores.
1st Week Collection Note: 'Panga' ended its first week run at the box office with a meagre collection approx 16 crores. The film had dropped notably on Monday compared to Friday, while Friday was already on the lower side. The film failed to hold and continued to drop throughout the weekdays. 'Panga' is a box office failure, and this marks actress Kangana Ranuat's 7th failure in a row. Her last clean-HIT at the box office was 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' back in 2015.
2nd Weekend Collection Update: 'Panga' collected around ~3.50 crores in its second weekend, which is around 70% drop compared to its first weekend at the box office. The overall 10 days collection of 'Panga' stands at 19.40 crores.
2nd Week Collection Update: 'Panga' collected ~5.05 crores in its second week. The overall two weeks box office total stands at around approx 21 crores. 'Panga' is box-office FLOP.
3rd Week Collection Update: 'Panga' collected around 1.25 crores in its third week. And, the film won't be adding much to its overall total going into its fourth week at the box office. The overall three weeks total collection stands at around 2.20 crores.
4th Week Collection Update: The film collected around 30 lakhs in its 4th week, and that is it for 'Panga' at the box office. The overall collection till date is 22.50 crores, and it will be the lifetime domestic collection of 'Panga'.
