'Coolie No.1', the comedy-drama film directed by David Dhawan, was scheduled to release at the box office on 1st May 2020 on the occasion of 'Labour Day' also known as the 'May Day' in India. However, the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in the nation-wide lock-down for almost two months from March 25th to May 17th, has forced the film to miss its scheduled release date. The film features actors Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles. 'Coolie No.1' is reportedly a remake of the 1995 film of the same name, which featured actors Govinda and Karishma Kapoor in the lead roles.
The OTT platform Amazon Prime Video is the online streaming partner of the film. We will update the Digital Premiere date of 'Coolie No.1' at the earliest once it is announced.
There are still much time to go for the initial box-office release of the film, and the trailer also is yet to be released. But, the first look posters of the film that have been released so far, are quite amusing. The lead actor of the film, Varun Dhawan, is returning back to the comedy genre after a gap of 3 years. His last comedy film was 'Judwa 2' back in 2017.

Coolie No 1 Movie Satellite Rights
The satellite rights of the film are apparently with Zee Cinema. The date of the TV premiere of the film is yet to be announced, and we will post the World TV Premiere date of 'Coolie No.1' once it is announced. The film will be first available on the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video for online streaming for its subscribers, and later it will be premiered on Zee Cinema.
